Activu will be exhibiting at Distributech - Booth 231

With DistribuTECH, the premier conference for all matters pertaining to energy, starting tomorrow (Jan 24-26), it only made sense to dedicate this blog to it. Activu will be co-exhibiting with Mitsubishi at booth 231. So do come and see us, if you are going to be there.

So why are we going to this show? Activu’s visualization and collaboration solution is extensively used by major utilities like PG&E, Exelon, Centerpoint, to monitor, manage and optimize routine and mission critical operations - such as load redistribution, cyber security and keeping lights on through storms, floods, fires, etc. And with smart grids, a lot of this distribution is controlled by computers and data networks, and monitored by cameras – so Activu’s solution lets operators manage their grids better and respond more effectively to emergencies. Moreover, numerous concurrent users can access dozens of information streams on multiple fixed and mobile display devices – on large video walls in centralized control rooms or on desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones – and, as a decision-making and response team, significantly benefit from having a common operating picture and real-time situational awareness.

Our solution also complies with North American Electrical Reliability Company (NERC) guidelines for reliability and security. Specifically, Activu meets the requirements of NERC CIP-007-1: Cyber Security. Our solution is easily customizable for audit trails of individual user account activity and can track hundreds of users and detail their activities to the millisecond. It also lets our clients enforce access authentication rights and privileges.

To find out more, come see us at booth 231. Have a great show!
